What we collect, and your choices.
Last updated 19 July 2026
The short version
Vantage is a set of free trading-analytics tools. There is no account, no sign-up, and nothing you type is stored — the tools only show public market data. The only thing we collect is anonymous information about how the site is used, so we can see what works and what to fix. If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK we ask before any of that runs, and you can decline.
What we collect
We do not ask for or store your name, email, payment details, or any personal information — there is nowhere on the site to enter it. What we measure is usage:
- Which pages and tools you visit, and how you move between them (including the tool settings in the address bar, e.g. which event and currency pair you looked at — none of which identifies you).
- Clicks and interactions on the page, and anonymised recordings of sessions (mouse movement, scrolling, clicks) used to spot where the interface confuses people.
- Standard technical data your browser sends — device type, approximate region, referring site.
Who processes it
We use three analytics services. Each receives the usage data above and processes it under its own privacy terms:
- PostHog — product analytics (paths, funnels). We have IP-address collection turned off in its settings. PostHog privacy policy.
- Microsoft Clarity — session replays and heatmaps. Microsoft privacy statement.
- Google Analytics — usage measurement and, where you have consented, advertising measurement. Google privacy policy.
Advertising
Some pages show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Ads are how most of the web funds free content, and they are part of what keeps Vantage free.
You can turn off personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of third-party ad cookies at aboutads.info/choices (or youronlinechoices.eu in the EU). How Google uses cookies in advertising is described in its advertising technologies policy. If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK, we do not show personalised ads without your consent, collected through the banner below.
Cookies
When analytics are active, these services set cookies to recognise a returning browser. We also store one small item in your browser (vantage_consent) to remember your choice below, so we do not ask again. That item is not shared with anyone.
Your choices
If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK, none of the analytics above run until you accept them — you will see a banner with an Accept and Declineoption, and declining keeps them off. Elsewhere, analytics run by default; you can still opt out using your browser’s cookie controls or a tracker-blocking extension.
To change a previous choice, clear this site’s data in your browser (which removes the vantage_consent record) and reload — the banner will appear again.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete data held about you, or to object to its processing. Because we hold no account or contact details for you, most requests are handled directly by the processors named above through their own tools — or you can contact us and we will help.

Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
